Wow! Really nice palette and composition. Soothing image. I'm playing around trying to improve on your interpretation and can't do much better. I post mine here for reference. It's different--a little more snappy mostly in the sky. And admittedly it changes the mood. Perhaps not to your liking. Food for thought. (Curves: moved highlights in and increased contrast; Added contrast mask--high radius blur, reduced saturation.)

Although I also like Bill's darker version, I think I prefer your paler color palette. I love the mood this creates.....truly like you're alone on a desert island. I thought the horizon might be crooked, but because of the angled boardwalk, I wasn't sure. So I actually measured it, and the horizon does dip down on the left. I think it makes this look a bit off-kilter. Bravo on a wonderful image.
