I am a big fan of cropping unnecessary space .I would crop the top of your picture down to the top of her head.or lower.to make for a more dramatic effect..I also feel the shot is too soft..considering your lens..so I am guessing you softened it in photoshop..or you did not stop down lens enough..I like to see eyes nice and sharp which you have done here..and the shadows a very pleasing.

Thanks for the suggestion on the cropping, I think that is a good idea. As far as the sharpness, I was going for a shallow depth of field with the aperture set at f1.4 with the focus set on the eyes. I appreciate your comments.
