Joe, the result is interesting, I saw many photos in that genre (with the cracked face and body) but her eyes and gaze are convincing, and I like the tuning of her face "framed" by her black hair.. Well executed.

Joseph, a dessicated, dried-mud type of effect well done. Looks like one of the lost tribe images from National Geographic. Interesting placement of the black stripes sort of suggests dribbling paint. Very interesting!!

Very convincing, powerful image. Tribal comes to mind. Can't imagine how much PS is involved with this but you are doing very well with your "training". Keep em coming. Fred

Pnina: I agree. Her eyes are engaging. I think you have touched upon the key element. Thank you!

Nima: Hello!! Always a pleasure to look at your work. Thanks.

Roger: I kind of got lucky with the "stripes". I was moving the image around and the one on her right eye just fit into place. Thanks!

Oliver: I appreciate that. My fellow students liked the eyes also. Thanks!

Fred: Tribal for sure. Uh...between you and me...not much PS work. The hard part is getting two images  with the correct tonal qualities...whatever that me be! The bottom layer has to be desaturated for the overlay to look good. And of course a  good model with personality works best. Thanks !!

Hello my friend!!

I see you keep creating beyond our imagination, I think I am gonna play some YES, or Uriah Heep music better, and talk to your Lady of The Forest. Who knows, maybe she can hear me calling...

All the best!

Certainly an eye grabber. This reminds me of an image from Jean Auel's "Clan of the Cave Bear". You have a future in graphic work, David. I really mean that.
