brendan_trewartha 0 Posted February 4, 2009 This photo was taken near Eaglehawk Neck on the Tasman Peninsula, Australia. The photo is at sunrise over a rare sedimentary rock formation called Tesselated Pavement. I tried to capture a reflection of the bright orange clouds in a natural pool formed in the rock and used a 4 stop Graduated ND filter to maintain color and detail throughout the picture. Fishermang 0 Posted February 4, 2009 The colors are too strong and oversaturated for my tastes, but the composition and the general view is very beautiful. Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted February 5, 2009 Great photo! I admire the perspective of this image particularly the slanted lines formed in the foreground which gives more dynamics and movement. Excellent reflection shot too and exposure is well controlled. Congratulations! Link to comment

jrickert 2 Posted January 1, 2010 This is so beautiful. I like the angle you chose here: the sedimentary rock blocks at a diagonal. Link to comment
