Mark, this is stunning. The colours, the composition, the different textures, all so lovely. It is heartbreaking to see the red pine needles, this no doubt means this tree is infectected with Pine Beetle. We've had our beautiful pine forests devestated here in BC.

The colors are stunning. It's like a painting.

Very bold to have a pine tree limb block the view instead of keeping it clean. You have a great visual line moving the foreground water back into the lake. You also have a good relationship balance with the limb and distant pines. It allows the viewer to see more detail on the distant pine than if the limb wasn't there, I hope that makes sense. The height you chose for the limb works perfectly to frame the right side. Looks awesome, Ry

but for my feeling the colors are to saturated, specially for a morning. And from the shodows I would say it was later in the morning.

And I miss a kind of central point in the picture. The foreground branch leads my view or the thelower left corner, where nothing special is visible, or out of the picture on the upper right. And the hill leads to the middle of the branch andthen is lost.

A beautiful photo of a more beautiful place. I like the colours. They are so wonderful that may seem...unreal. Thanks for sharing
