amalsircar 2 Posted February 2, 2009 Koushik, as an after-thought, it came to my mind that in this image, you have been able to combine within one framework the recognizable and mysterious, extreme subjectivity of content with forms rigorously objective, an exact portrayal of the factual world with an dreamlike magical quality. By unifying these two contrary element, you have been able to achieve a new mutation in photography. Sabash! Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted February 2, 2009 The unusual composition, relegating the colorful main attraction to the corner, works wonderfully to be both humorous and slightly whimsical. Link to comment

ray.koushik 0 Posted February 3, 2009 Thank you for detailing your impression, Amal-da. Jeff, Sumon, Yalcin, Hans, Andrea, Tony, thank you for the appreciation and support. Tony, adding yellow does not look good on my monitor here. I shall try it on other monitors. Thank you for the suggestion. I appreciate it. -koushik Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 419 Posted February 3, 2009 Only I would prefer sharpness all the way. And I wonder how it came up to be a bit blurry on the left side?! It may happen with my cheap close-up wide adapter for my Sony, but with a Coolpix?! PDE Link to comment

ray.koushik 0 Posted February 4, 2009 Pierre, Christoph, David, Ivana, Liz, Keith, thank you all for the appreciation and support. Pierre, I agree about sharpness. i had noticed the blur on left and have no idea why it occurred. Only thing i can mention is that the light was not very opportune for this. it was sitting on the wall right below an incandescent lamp. perhaps one can fix this digitally. thanks a lot again for the comment. -koushik Link to comment
