jasonm 0 Posted November 12, 2002 Technical details compare to vertical taken from the same spot. I much prefer the vertical one. I think the composition is better. Both are nice photos though. Link to comment
howell_white 0 Posted November 13, 2002 Beautiful. One way I judge a photo is to ask, "Would I hang this in my home?". This one ... definitely! Link to comment
seven 0 Posted November 14, 2002 vertical Tough call Carl - both are quite beautiful and reflect the feeling and colour of the season. I prefer this exposure, a little lighter, but the vertical is for me a stronger composition. However, more white from the stream here which contrasts well against the warmer colours.Though this isn't a competition, how about we call this a draw! evan_mathison 0 Posted February 28, 2003 Is it true that George Eastman of Kodak fame had this place built in the 20's for testing his films? ... Seriously, It's a superb classical composition ... Thanks, Evan ... Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 1, 2003 a good and complete cliche. Nothing is missing: stroll, red leaves, black stone and wooden cabin... Link to comment
michael_mcconnell1 0 Posted August 7, 2003 Carl, I like this shot. I think that it would even better if you could polorize it a bit. Michael Link to comment

peggy_jones 0 Posted February 8, 2004 very good pictures on the left and right, but here my interest is divided. Link to comment
root 0 Posted February 8, 2004 I have another one which is nearly identical but omits the space to the left of the double trunks. That and a brighter roof keeps your eye in the middle and intergates the image, although the difference is quite subtle. Link to comment
