andrewdryburgh 0 Posted February 4, 2009 I have two points where I would like your opinions on: 1) Would you have handled the exposure differently, or are the blown-out highlights in the window acceptable? 2) With the focus point in the middle of the field, do you find the out of focus foreground distracting, or does it work to pull you into the shot? I can't decide this one. Link to comment
gnphotography 0 Posted February 5, 2009 Andrew, To your first question, the window itself is not so relevant to the image so the little blown highlights there are fine. To your second question, the DOF is well placed from lower third to center, and does draw the viewer in. Well done. One thing you may consider is shooting a couple of white balance samples because of the divide between natural light coming from the window and what looks like a slight yellow cast of tungsten light inside.
