john van aarle 0 Posted February 1, 2009 This is a very intriguing picture. Those different red/orange tones are perfect. The lighting is fine even as the contrast is. Great compositon, well seen and presented! TFS John Link to comment

sheryl_w__blue_mt._ 0 Posted February 4, 2009 ... I love the orange.... it's a sensual color... we get a peak at the dancer, as she gets ready to perform... Link to comment
soniam 6 Posted February 4, 2009 Wonderful and original. I like the division of this frame into three. gives it a sence of dimension. Well done! Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted February 4, 2009 I like the picture division Pnina...it looks more of a curtain (due to the veil) than a pilar to me and I think a curtain goes so nicely with the subject...the light strike me also as the right part is darker and the left part illuminated from the right with the center curtain/pilar hidding the light source...the composition emphasizes a kind of off-stage / off-pose mood that I particularly enjoy... pnital 36 Posted February 5, 2009 Sheryl and Sonia thank both of you. Laurent, interesting interpretation of the pillar as a curtain... Thanks for all your evaluations, I'm glad you enjoyed the composition. Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted July 2, 2009 The red veil in the front is like a dab of red paint (the easel providing the storyline) that is splashed on the dancer in back, animating her, providing emotion, dynamism. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 3, 2009 Thanks, I like the connection between the elements you did, it is one of my favorites as it connects my painting with my photography.... Link to comment
