A lot of feeling in this one, Janie.....Did you use a red filter on this, it has that look.......has a wide angle appearance as well.......Jim

Yes Jim, I did use the red filter for the skies.Jim, we were traveling around northwest Texas and as we passed I told Sam "go back"! The mesquite trees there gave this shot such an eerie feeling. I looked this cemetery up on the internet and it was actually established prior to 1836 when Texas was still a part of Mexico. It was used as a burial plot for slaves around the Sulphur Spring community. Today it is no longer in use but is a local symbol of pride for some of the descendents in the area. I really like coming upon these finds as I end up going to the internet and finding out what I can about them. It is very interesting to find out about them even though most of the time I don't retain a lot of what I read, LOL.

great processing Janie! those mesquite trees are rather creepy...almost like giant skeletal hands reaching up from beyond the grave. very cool
