Nice shot of a Metro escalator (something I walk on @ least 10 times a week--I hope you weren't 1 of those tourists who stands on the left & blocks the commuters!). Also, I think you did a good job w/the panoramic stitching software.

I have a problem with the person. They compete with my eye and unbalance the composition.

Nice shot, original and thought provoking, it makes me wanting to stare at it for a long time and trying to figure out what is in the dark. However I agree with Peter that the person unbalances the photo. Cheers!

Beautiful photo, really love those tunnelling effects. I actually like the person, I think it adds some perspective and context to the picture. If it wasn't there, I'd probably have a problem figuring out that it was an escalator!

Nice shot. You did an excellent job positioning your camera at the correct angle for the shot. It makes it look as though it is on a horizontal plane. At first I thought you were standing in the middle of the subway tracks. Upon further inspection I realized it was an escalator. Way to go!

I think the person actually adds balance. Try to see the image without the person. I believe it is better this way. Great Shot

The concentric rings of light and dark, with the person, give a feeling of sliding down into that tunnel, which would not be as effective without the person. Very intriguing.

A powerful symmetrical image,i do hope the train wasnt due!

Excellent capture and I like the shadow person. The only thing I would recommend is leveling the composition on its horizontal axis -- particularly since this is a photo about symetry -- and seeing how it looks.

Magnificent and opportune shot, perfect distribution, absence of colors, charms me, is a pretty and intelligent photograph.
