How did you get to take this - did you bait the bird and was it with a photo expedition? I'd love to know as I live in Switzerland and would happily travel to get these images..... Link to comment

kevinwalsh 0 Posted July 13, 2009 Excellent shot. Nice action, sharp focus and good crop.The D3 and 200-400 is quite a capable combo, and you must have had some good support too. I cant help wondering if that marvelous, golden light was reflected up under the wings at all. The D3 NEFs are quite deep. I wonder if you could pull up the shadows a bit. There doesn't seem to be much danger of blowing highlights here. Link to comment
