out of doors Eagle Sunset

Two seperate photographs origionally, this was my first effort at a

collage. The eagles are a roosting pair that live right outside our back

door (kind of) and the photograph I took of the pair of them had a less

than ideal sky (overcast). The sunset I captured just the other day and

thought it might make a nice looking shot. Please let me know if this

works!

I think it...almost works. Spectacular sunset, and great shot of the eagles. I think the issue for my eye is the depth of field...the eagles and foreground tree are just a little too sharp to look like part of the rest of the picture. Since the rest of the background trees are out of focus slightly, having the entire FG tree and both birds perfectly sharp doesn't quite mesh...you might try reducing the sharpness of the outline a bit to see if it looks more natural. For a first collage, though, it's incredibly well done!

Beautiful scene.

At least for me it works. The focussed branches in the foreground segregate nicely the subject from the background. Very well done.

I like this shoot , the colours and composition works great.
