FilmPhotography-DuaneHorne 0 Posted January 23, 2009 This was a live butterfly exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia. The exhibit area was 85 degrees F @ 80% RH. Coming in from the cold it took about an hour for the camera and lens to reach equilibrium with the ambient conditions of the exhibit to remove and prevent the buildup of condensation on the equipment. I set the camera on manual exposure 1/60 for handholding and f11 for depth of field. This resulted in ambient light underexposure so I used a right flash dialed down 1.5 stops for the primary light source. Please, your constructive critiques are greatly valued. Link to comment
