The Borders of Sight....

This disturbs. I always take a psychological spin on your pics, imagining the implications. I see this as a woman grappling with herself. A physical embodiment of what most of us experience when we're truthful. It's hard to be both blinded and surprised. Troubling work.

I think that many times your interpretation is touching my psychological feelings, especially in this one, that for me speaks about inner borders vs. outsides ones. How our inner life, reflects in the outside. Our vision, our ways of looking and interpreting reality. The borders of sight.....Thanks for an interesting commentary .

The details are stunning and the veil in this composition seems to take an overpowering role. To me the veil and the blindfold give me the impression to work in conjunction to "limit" the sight of the subject. They represent blinding obstacles that hinder reality and the person seems to be fine living in that reality.
