in the lower left take away from the photo?

I really like this photo. The details and tones are great. The roof doesn't really bother me, but removing it somehow would improve the photograph. Either way it's still a good portrait. Congrats!

This is a great photo...particularly that it is in black and white...I don't think you need to change a thing!
