the glade of the moon

One of my favorite words... "glade". A meaning of glade is "a bright

smooth place". Taken on a balmy winter night from a hotel on the

Atlantic Ocean. I set up my gear and gazed at this scene... rum & coke

in hand, the sounds of my wife, laying on the bed and laughing into

the phone, a little jazz in the background. The breeze pulled the

curtain out of the sliding glass door and caused it to flutter and

yearn for it's freedom... and sail away to the waiting moon like a

lazy angel. I tripped the shutter...
