adam marksteiner 0 Posted January 20, 2009 This rock was pounded by waves and then temperatures plumeted well below zero. The "scales" are a result of horfrost, caused by vapor from the "warm" water. Unfortunately the fog blew away and I only had a moment to capture this, so with no time to change to a wider lens, I took two images and then stitched them together to get this complete picture. I think it turned out well and I can not detect the stitch at all. Can you? Link to comment
