A very difficult lighting situation, that you have handled quite well!!! Really like the soft lighting in the forground and the lines of the winter bare trees!!! Well Composed, Quite Serene and Beautiful.... Well Done!!! (the solor flare to the left is a very small distraction, but does not take away anything from your Excellent Work!!!)

Thanks Dennis and Glenn. Glenn: actually this is an HDR, which makes exposure a no-brainer. That most HDR looks awful is because IMHO it needs some postprocessing to make it look natural, which I think, in all modesty, this photo is. In retrospect I should have added a -4 exposure as well, -2 was not enough to prevent the blown-out part below the sun.
