archie_sabin 0 Posted November 8, 2002 a little more color change in the leaves would make this stand out better Link to comment
ilia 0 Posted November 18, 2002 I'm sorry of it looks a bit cliche... If you liked this image I would appreciate your comments on the rest of the photos in my Scenics folder. If you are not too much into the landscapes of mine :), you may like my "Portraits of family and friends" better. Link to comment
fred_j._lord 0 Posted November 19, 2002 Ilia: I hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here. I shoot with a D60 as well and it does tend to go a bit cyan under these circumstances. I corrected for the cyan cast in your image and I am presenting that corrected image along with the original. It is a wonderful, charming image and I felt it just needed a minor tweak to be perfect. If this offends you, please let me know and I will remove it immediately. Link to comment
ilia 0 Posted November 19, 2002 Fred, you don't overstep at all. I posted it exactly for the comments like yours. I also noted slight cyan in some of my D60 images, especially ones with auto-white-balance. This one did not particularly catch my eye as a "cyan-ed" image, but thanks for pointing it out. michaelk 0 Posted May 5, 2005 Where is this. Reminds me of Vermont. Edit: New Haven, CT??? While it's been awhile since I have been there I never remember it looking that nice except for some of Yale. Link to comment
