it's like he's coming right out of the photo. nice separation - i think it would be hard with a white bird on white snow but your depth of field choice made it work. and great composition!

I wish the bird could be a tad sharper, but yes, this really is an excellent image. Hats off.

Very nice shot with great shadow detail and a sense of motion. The composition of course as well as the timing imparts that sense.

The only small flaw I see is the almost mountain in the background. Blurring the blue background to reduce the mountain to an unrecognizable colored form or cloning it out might be a worthwhile improvement. Overall though very well done.

What a great capture. Congratulations on that. I'm sure some nature stock agencies will be very interested if you have more like this.

Incredible catch and perfect exposure. If you're not opposed to editing, I think the blue mountain? in the background could be eliminated to further enhance this great image.

amazing shot, it caught my eye immediately. Something about it is soo free yet pure at the same time. How did you manage to capture such a sharp picture?? defenitely one of the my favorites.

it looks so amazingly graceful... the bird is so wonderfully white, with the snow... yes, it does look like a dance. great.

It's a little bit soft, and it does bother me. Technical execution is critical for shots like this, unless an arty 'impressionistic' effect is intended, which clearly isn't the case here. And although the background tells us we're at an exotic and interesting location, it's too blurred to contribute anything to the beauty of this well-timed image.

The Depth of Field on this is amazing,

to get the white on white to stand out like

it does.

I agree the bird is a little on the soft side, but for me it almost seems it should be that way.

Just beautiful!!

Gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous!

You've captured the grace and beauty of this bird exquisitely. Btw, did you notice the sign of the cross in the form of a shadow in the snow on the lower right hand side, directly underneath his wing?
