It looks over-exposed to me as well. If you can't regain the highlights, you might try the picture in b/w - I don't see too much being added to the picture by the colors, and the overblown effect might be softened a bit that way.

Andrew... Yep, blown out here too. Rachel beat me to the recommendation to convert to b/w, but I've attached a thought.

 

The EXIF data doesn't mention the type flash, but I recommend you get a diffuser (Sto-Fen is a good one) and bounce the flash.

 

And lastly, as my example will show. If you have an image with an issue and don't (or can't) do a re-do; go for high or low key and make it look like you did it on purpose :-).... Mike
