lizroche 0 Posted January 15, 2009 Atle, i am no expert, but i like the image as it is - it is a personal thing that i like to leave images untouched...i think the blueness here adds to the stillness and coldness for me. Well done! Link to comment
yttergaarden. 0 Posted January 15, 2009 This must have been taken in the blue hour :-) I agree ,i like it as it is, for some times the bluish light can be like this. For detaljene så kunne det vel kanskje vært gjort litt lysere men jeg vet ikke helt, da dette har med stemningen i bildet å gjøre. Jeg synes det er bra som det er. Vennlig hilsen LKV. Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted January 15, 2009 The blue is fine for me. It works well with the grey rocks in the FG. At this size, I can't see how much detail there is in the darker areas but it looks like enough. Link to comment
emmaparra 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Wonderful blue composition. Sperb atmosphere. Regards Link to comment
atle.g 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Thanks for the comments folks, glad you liked it ! On my monitor there are sufficient details in the FG, but i have not a calibrated monitor...yet,...Im about to order a one though. At the right and mid back there are some lights and a road, wich is not attractive if this is brighter, have not blown this up large yet...(my new epson is still unpacked),but there is a possibility that it needs more darkening at that area. ryourth 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Very strong image Atle, believe your black & blue tones are well balanced. The fine details of the foreground nicely balance the background. Regards-Ross Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted April 4, 2009 This is excellent, I would not change anything. Color and tones are just perfect. Brightening would spoil it. If you look at the histogram, you see an even distribution (far from being lowkey) from black to white Link to comment
