robwilson 0 Posted January 18, 2009 I think that this is one of your best creations Pierre! I really like it. I can't think of any way to actually 'critique' it, so I think I'll just enjoy it instead! Great stuff! Rob Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted January 18, 2009 No beginning, no ending, vibrant colors swirling. Confusion & turmoil is what comes to mind as my eye takes this journey to the center. Well done! Best regards, Pamela Link to comment
srichardson 0 Posted January 19, 2009 Well Pierre.. Look like a 3/3 to me.. LOL,, just kidding. Your comment about my photo was funny. I really do like this one .. It looks like a vortex , but it's not. Really neat effect. I like the one contrasting red color, nice composition.. Congrats. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 285 Posted January 19, 2009 Steven, it is not a vortex, that's for sure, it has an exact meaning: The "tubes" represent different characters. The large one with a huge cut is me, big, impressive, talented and sincere, open to the public and that's why he's cut, meaning stopped, disabled...etc! The small one in red is as we here say secret ember, small, weak and mean and cunning! The one below is also big, intelligent, capable and maybe talented, but he doesn't go straight, he isn't upright, he uses a sneaky way in his attitude towards the rest of the world and he's not cut, not frustrated, he's successful all the way! The one behind is a huge one with all the qualities of a great man except the openness, sincerity and straightness, he's doing his acts behind the curtains! So. he is safe and successful. These are the ways of being as in the caption! And they are all surrounded by some limitation matter, the material world, but behind that all is emptiness and endlessness, the non material, the unknown to them all...it's presented by the black hole! tanyatruong 0 Posted January 22, 2009 I will be the dot that illuminates through all "Ways of Being" ;o). Pierre! I read your interpretation of the image, very interesting of your imagination and the context that you have placed this image. The photo in itself is very well composed and definitely eye-catching. Pierre! When i look at the image and read your interpretation, i could not help to have a parallel comparison of this image to one of the symphonies of my all time favorite, Beethoven, it evokes full range of emotions in one piece of music. vs1 0 Posted January 28, 2009 Seem to see myself.....in a black hole :-). Must say this one is one of yours better lately. After reading your explanation things are clear. But beforet that, abstract minimalism is what has pulled my attention. Hope you're doing well and wish you all the best, VS Link to comment

balosie 0 Posted February 2, 2009 Interesting... Some of the best polar coordinate work I've seen. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 285 Posted February 2, 2009 Yes I once used to use the polar coordinates very often and tried to do something original out of it. Dave, it maybe looks so, but I only used the PS CS3, no 3D modeling! A lot of work on the shadows and layers, that was all! PDE Link to comment
