stevesieren 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Went for a little walk up that way. My cheesy Sunto watch said it was - 10 out that morning not sure that was correct or not though. Link to comment

tmjacobs 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Lovely winter scene. Good exposure & detail & composition. I would have preferred a bigger version though, to enjoy it even more. I think that in landscape photography size does matter. Must have been great being there. Link to comment
aeg 0 Posted January 13, 2009 I agree with Theo in that a larger version would make a greater impact, but it is a beautiful capture with great color, lighting and detail. Regards Link to comment
stevesieren 0 Posted January 13, 2009 Thanks guys. Does anyone know what the pixel size for vertical photographs is to where it doesn't fall off the page at the bottom? Steve Link to comment
tmjacobs 0 Posted January 14, 2009 Steve, the vertical pixel size is a bit of a personal choice: on what screens do you want your photo to fit? The smallest resolution nowadays is 1024x768. Taking away the menus etc. that leaves you with only app. 600 vertical pixels. Personally I think most photonet viewers have (or should have) bigger screens: a 20" with 1680x1050 resolution gives 800 vertical pixels, which is what I choose as maximum. Link to comment

iancoxleigh 0 Posted January 15, 2009 Wow. The alpenglow and the smooth water make such a lovely scene. Great composition too -- I even and especially like the one tree top right. Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted January 16, 2009 Awesome stuff Steve! Very painterly across the lower portion. The last remaining foliage adds a nice rusty touch. Well captured! Link to comment
gbgrubb 0 Posted March 9, 2009 A real beauty. Soft colors; reflections; exposure length; balance; all work together to make this a wonderful image. Regards. Link to comment
