landscapes Taking my boat in the mist

Beautiful! It would be interesting to see how this scene would look in a landscape mode, enabling the viewer to experience more of the tranquil surroundings. Also, capturing a hint of life or movement - say, a bird flitting across or a ripple, would add another dimension to the picture.

 

I love the mists and the muted colors... a lo of mood here. ..also a good composition idea to play with. The problem I see is that the bow of the boat and the overhanging tree limb are both exactly on the enter line of the picture. It would have been a lot more creative (and pleasing in my opinion) composition if those two points had been offset to one side or the other.

Pramod, Thanks for your comments. Adding life would have changed the mood of the photograph. Please look at another of my photographs http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=8490522 where I have tried to include birds in similar mood. Let me know your comments.

Thanks for comments Sandra! I agree offsetting the boat and the tree would have added more dimensions and depth to the photograph.
