bjcarlton 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Delightful interplay between the model's lines and the chairs. Nice semi-silhouette. Graceful pose. Link to comment

gordonholman 1 Posted January 11, 2009 Nice pose but technically the noise in the shadows are a bit to much for me, I would of love to see her naturally to see soft skin tones, great pose and great composition! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 12, 2009 Ilya, I love the mood of this photograph. There are a couple of things you might have done that I think would have improved it. 1. Put a little more room in front of her than behind. She will then be going into the picture instead of out of it. 2. The chair on the left is distracting - It also cuts into her arms. I would get rid of it. 3. Get rid of the "lines" going into her from left to right (shelves?). 4. Even though they are nicely out of focus the window and picture in the background still detract from the girl. 5. I don't like the lines of the chair she is sitting on that merge with her back - turn the chair. You have a great idea and I think it is a good start to a great photograph. Great semi-silhouette of the girl and the tablecloth. This screams for simplicity (most sihouettes do) of props and background - in this case less is more! Mark Link to comment
