paolamarinangeli 0 Posted January 9, 2009 This little Cyclamen came from my balcony, I have been fascinated by the unusual shape and position of its petals and when decided to shot it I have used this angle of view to make the photo a little bit unusual, it looks like this little flower preferred to hide himself....not showing completely its beauty, that's the reason I have named this shot......I'm so shy....!!! Thanks for the visit and comments Link to comment
karen rexrode 0 Posted January 9, 2009 A lovely shot with great droplets of water. I wonder if the background might be better in black. Just a thought. Karen Link to comment
paolamarinangeli 0 Posted January 9, 2009 Dear Karen thanks for yr comments to this photo, your suggestion about a black background is right, I like black background. I did several photos of little cyclamen flowers on the same day, changing time by time the backgrounds, using different colours of bristol boards (as I am mainly a painter I have lot of drawing/painting papers at home with good variety of colours) when it was the time to shot this particular flower I changed the Bristol board from the black one to this plum colour and this is the result. Just before this shot I did some photos of other cyclamen flowers (white and pink) using BLACK. I will post a couple of examples in my Flowers Gallery. I have visited your Flowers Portfolio and there are beautiful and original photos with a good eye and research for originality. The challenging side of shooting flowers is (to my opinion) the research for originality otherwise flowers are always the same....! Thanks again and all the very best Paola Link to comment
