Rannoch Sublime

ian cameron

Location: Rannoch moor, Glencoe, Scotland. One fine Autumnal morning in late November after the end of one of the masterclass courses I was running I opted to spend one more day to myself and came across this most beautiful painterly scene with a delicate palette of colour. I was the only one there and the silence chill and emptiness concentrated my attention wonderfully enabling me to capture it at its sublime best. Rarely have I come away from a scene feeling so inwardly satisfied.NEW!! Photographic Workshops and Masterclasses at TRANSIENT LIGHT.

One sunrise at Rannoch moor near Glencoe, Scotland I witnessed such

soft directional light, as delicate as a fine painting.

Ian,

Really nice image there, only 1 comment though, the dark rock jutting out of the pool keeps catching my eye and stops me enjoying the rest of the wonderful image.

Cheers

Ah well there you go Martyn oddly I had the opposite view initially I thought to adjust my position to lose the rock but then it occurred to me that there would be a lot of empty space without it. Ironically I'd prefer it to be a little higher up to be more obvious.
