cornerstone 0 Posted January 6, 2009 I parked at a railroad crossing and hiked 1/4 mile through the sagebrush and snow. The temperature was about 5 deg. I couldn't walk on the track because I wanted the snow undisturbed for the shot. After 30 minutes of setting up, focusing and waiting for the sweet light, the shutter failed. It couldn't take the cold. I opened the lens and used my hand for a shutter and estimated the time. This is the result. Link to comment
