Hey guys, the semester is coming to a stressful end and I will have

more time to devote to the circle untill things pick up again next

semester. On the bright side...I graduate with my Master's degree

in may and i can put these stressful days behind me. ANyway, what

do you think of this photo. The sky was cloudy and uninteresting,

but the colors seemed very pleasant. Do you like the saturation and

the composition. I did some unsharp masking in PS to bring out some

added detail and help give the water a glass-like effect. Let me

know what you think?

Thanks, Tony

Where can you find a better way to refresh and relax like taking shot like this? I don't have problem with the composition. Some may pay more attention at the rule of third, but I think the 50/50 split works in this quiet and balanced shot. The color does not look overly saturated for me. The contrast is nice. Work done!!!

Welcome back if only for a short time. In the end all the stressfull days of working on your Master's will be worth it. I am still debating to go back for mine.

As for this shot, I think is a very serene looking photo. I could sit out by the water, surrounded by all the lovely colors of the trees (and the saturation works for me), and I really like the way you caught the reflection of the trees off the water. A lovely picture. If I didn't like the snow so much, I would rather be there! Nice work.

Nice work! The colors are quite nice. I think the split down the middle is acceptable here because of the difference surface textures in the water. Altogether a very nice image.

The two way split almost demands a centered picture, here. The symmetries work so well, and would be lost with an off-center crop. The bridge at center makes this work even better.

I really like the deep rich colors here. Very soothing photo. Scenes like this are why Fall is my favorite time of year.

Good work Tony. And welcome back to Rowell Circle!

This has a wonderful richness to it. It reminds me of some prints my grandparents had of pastoral scenes from the 19th century...
