This is wonderful. The more I look at it the more I appreciate how the ceiling anchors the image, drawing you into the staircase. The color is great, too.

Interesting balance. I agree with Tom. . . .and the visual flow seems to curve from ceiling down to the shadow on the floor. An important element, I think. Nicely done.
