I'd suggest to introduce new category somthing related to environmental protection. A lot of interesting shots like this one can be made and on the other hande, photographers may focus peoples attention on ecological issues.

wow, this brings on a whole new thought process. The shells could be stuck to it naturally - but maybe it was a 'craft' someone made???  But what a shame it was washed ashore - makes me wonder about all the other stuff that is floating out there.  A good find Holger, excellent capture and truly of interest to all.
