Hello,

I'm not a very experienced landscape photographer. Would you like to give me some tips for

improvement of this photo? Thank you a lot!

Regards, Pim

That is a though one to critique for me. I think you got the ABC'S on this one but still lacking interest (to me at tleast) I like the composition the tree line and the walk pathcurve, it seems in balance. To me what it's missing is the puch element such as bunch of color leafs, a boat in the water, a bicicle on the side or the human element, someone walking or fishing. The way it is now does not do much for me.

Regards,

Alex

PS: Happy new year

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your honest comment. I think you're right. This is just an empty landscape. Next time I will try to make it more interesting. Best wishes for 2009!

Regards, Pim.

Hi Pim,

I have to agree with alex ... nothing wrong about it, in balance, soft colours, ...but lack of something to grab the attention ... a possible story.

If you like a frame with your name, like many others like, try to use a uniform style : here I see 3 words, all 3 of them in a different style ... it takes the eyes away from your photo, wich isn't the purpose.

Tha,ks ofr your wishes ... same for you and your beloved one's.

Piet
