bruckner 554 Posted January 1, 2009 Happy New Year to all and to a good year. With such a diverse group of people on photonet, not everyone will agree as to what is a good image capture. Ironically, this is a good thing when one receives feedback in a positive way telling you where the image may be improved. After all, photography is a creative medium and to confine it strictly to rules would remove the creativity that is in all of us.Your critique do help me to see my images from different viewpoint and I like to say thank you for that. This image is of a small bird known as Red-breasted Nuthatch (Sitta canadensis) that is found in spruce and fir forest across north American continent. Image was shot in natural light, slightly cropped and some colour adjustments were made. Link to comment
dwoel 0 Posted January 1, 2009 Vary nice shot, and anyone would have to get really nitpicky to find an area for improvement. Background is soft and compliments the shot well. Just as a personal preference, I would like to have seen just a touch more space between the edge of the shot and the tail. As you noted there are many personbal tastes and preferences involved. Lovely shot. Regards.....Dave Link to comment
