Amarillys in Black and White

I have been fascinated by Black and White photography since I was a

child and remember my late father doing almost all his photos in B&W and

saying that it is through B&W that is possible to judge a photographer skill.

I am a true beginner in the art of photography and I have so much to learrn

and practice but I can not resist the temptation to try the fascinating world

of Black and White and this is one of the photos I did recently and that I like

more. Your critiques and suggestions how to improve will be very very

much appreciated

A fine study and transformation. This image has character! However, the first thing that came to mind was to question the use of that slightly unusual colour used for the framing...
