I agree. Nice image; the B&W is most effective. I think the 3 people in the front, woman and two men, become too much the focal point and lessen the impact of the old crowded street and its buildings amidst an interesting crowd. Perhaps you could crop them out; the image would be more square, but I think the impact would improve. This looks like an old shetl.

One more comment - this resembles a Roman Vishniac image. That's a compliment. Check him out.
