Your composition and lighting are perfect. Very good detail. I think that the jar could have been slightly more to the left, but all the same it is excellent work.

Wonderful warm lighting. A great still life. I am usually not into digital frames, but this one complements the photo nicely.

Well exercuted photo. I like the jar (markings on side, soft shadow on rim and the fall off in light towards the back and how you positioned it) more than fruit of the season which look almost plastic perfect.

Light and composition are as good as it gets, as far as I can tell, except maybe for the fact that the pumkin on the top casts a little slightly disturbing shadow on the one at the bottom. But that's to be really picky. I may also suggest you tone done slightly your highlight on the jar by a mery minor burning. Otherwise, perfect, and I especially love the toning on the jar's body.

Then, to me, the items used in this picture are really great. Are those "baby-pumkins" ? The relative sizes here is what caught my attention. And do people actually put pumkins in jars...??(Sorry for this silly questions, but there are no pumkins where I live...)

Anyway, congrats. A wonderful shot. Regards.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments!

Do they really put pumpkins in jars? Why, of course! What do they do with pumpkins where you live? ;-) Maybe not obvious, but I thought the lines running down the jar reminded me of the pumpkin shape, hence the setup.

Doug: yes these are mini-pumpkins, about 3 inches in diameter! I didn't realize that might not be obvious at first to someone looking at it. That really would be a BIG jar if they were full sized!

Superb lighting! It would've been cool if the pumpkin leaning on the jar would've had a longer curvy stem, but that's getting picky and you are limited by availability too :-) This is one of the nicest still lifes I've seen of a fall/pumpkin scene. Congrats!
