dacamera 0 Posted December 15, 2008 The receding trees give a good sense of scale, beautiful natural colours. Simon Link to comment
blue-olympus 0 Posted December 16, 2008 Splendid scene with great tones. Good idea to include the trees. Link to comment
leo burkey 0 Posted December 16, 2008 Excellent composition as the placement of the trees adds depth and again very nice handling of the sky tonal values. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 18, 2008 I like the feeling of "layers" the landscape is presenting. The trees are leading the viewer to the different triangled forms of land , to the different color palette of nature, stops for some time on the biggest loess color form and finishes at the BG that hints continuation.... ,and the sky interestting color and clouds formation. Nice varied landscape Ian, well composed. Link to comment

iancoxleigh 0 Posted December 23, 2008 Christoph, Florin, Raymond, thanks. Pnina, thank you especially for the detailed analysis. You've seen much of the "rhythm" in this that I do. I don't know how observant you are; but, Happy Hanukkah none-the-less. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted December 24, 2008 Thanks , we celebrate Hanukkah with my children and grandchildren. It is a good time as well , to wish you, your mother and the rest of your family happy holidays, and coming new year, which I hope will turn better than what is awaiting us.... Link to comment
