chris_rowe1 0 Posted December 13, 2008 I got home from school the other day and the sun was just setting. Sothe second i got in my house I ran around and got my gear put it in mypack, thought of this river and knew that their was a trail followingit all the way to a falls. I never got a chance to get to the fallsbecause it's about a 30 minute walk, and the sun was almost set. Imanaged to catch this shot. Quite pleased for a rush job. Critiquesand Comments are very desired. Thanks in advance,Chris. Link to comment
mcginty 0 Posted December 13, 2008 Hi Chris, You have a great visual line leading the viewer through the scene. The snowy edge of the river brings the eye up the river focusing on the sunset then moves the viewer's eye to the right showing the beautiful silhouette of the trees against the clouds and reflecting on the river. Very nicely done. Even thought you have a bright white snow in the foreground you didn't over expose allowing the smooth subtle tones to be seen. Also it gives the viewer an idea what the rest of the river looks like if they were to walk beside that river. Well done. Ry Link to comment
