Hi Rich,

 

This is a beautiful, well composed scene. I love the color on the mountains in the background as well as the snow. The bench is well placed.

 

My main suggestion is to enhance the contrast between the bench and the background. Different lighting between the two would make it much better. Maybe flash on the bench... or maybe the bench in silhouette would work well. Or if possible, maybe even a very narrow depth of field so that the bench is sharp and the background soft.

 

 

Thanks John, you are quite right, I think evening light would be best to take image then the hole scene would be lit instead of just the hill and bit forground.

Beautiful shot Rich. Another trick would be to find a time of day (or year) when the bench is lit more that the hills in the back, and take the shot then.
