A very good night shot, John. Everything works for me, except one thing - the car trails in the snow in the shadow of the tree. An artificial element in an otherwise timeless scenery. Curious - do you have any problem with noise with such long exposures with your 5D ? Have you ever compared to film ?

Thanks for the comments. I've wondered what the comparison with film would be but never got round to trying it, although sensor noise hasn't ever been an issue for me in cold conditions like this.
