Dunes [1]

patrykmoriak

Gran Canaria is one of and is the second largest island in the Canary Islands, an archipelago located in the Atlantic Ocean 210 km from the northwest coast of Africa and belonging to Spain. The island is of volcanic origin. The picture shows sunrise above dunes of Maspalomas supplied by sands from the Saharaa. It is wonderful coastline sight with sand dunes, wide, sandy beaches, shallow waters and an excellent all year round climate – a paradise for beach lovers and family holidays. Dunes occupy an area of about 418 hectares.

I like the layered dunes under the colorful sky. The slice of water in the background adds a nice touch, but it might be nice to see just a bit more of it. Thanks,

Daniel
