I'm not sure that Andis' comment was particularly helpful; in fact, I'm sure that it was not. Personally, I think you caught an interesting mood here from Tunnel View. I might be tempted to crop down from the top some, but that's purely personal. Nicely seen and captured; and don't give the Andis' of the world a second thought. Cheers! Chris

Even, diffuse light in the foreground and granite is good. Including the large area of washed out sky is not! Yosemite Valley is tricky when it comes to light. If you try to get direct warm evening or morning light (as Andis is probably referring to), you have to contend with strong shadows too, due to the fact that it's a deep valley. So I think the lighting here really is decent, just not with so much sky included. Kind regards, -Clayton

Except for the milky sky without much cloud detail at the top, I think this is a fine view of the valley and a decent landscape to take home from Yosemite.
