What a rich contrast between the bright green of the nearby water and the darkness of the approaching storm and background. I like how you've caught the transparency of the water and froze the curl. It makes for a interesting design. A wonderful shot Bill.

I agree. Nice shot. The colors are really striking. And graphically it's just very, very fine to me. The echoing forms of waves and mountains, heavy cloud band and delicately tinted sand... Perfect to capture the central wave-form just when the whitecap outlines the body of the wave, without cutting into its translucent green (and when the collapsed sections on either side create that echo of the distant mountain range)... Very powerful restrained palette; terrific effect.
