Chief Pontiac

Here's another shot of the 1948 Pontiac Silver Streak's hood ornament taken at an

annual gathering of antique cars and hot-rods (in Daytona Beach). Looks best when

Great shot. I'm a closet fan of the art deco era and this is great. I suppose the main point of contention would be the highlight/reflection under the emblem's chin, but I'll leave that you or others to discuss.

Nice detail. Looks like old Chief Pontiac has on a colourful head dress thanks to the yellow gem beside him. This reminded me of a similar shot I made a few years ago. Originally in colour I converted to B&W for a period look. Not sure but I think this one's a '53. We're birds of a feather, it seems, when it comes to our vision at car shows at least. Best, LM.
