leecaudilljr 0 Posted November 25, 2008 We got a dusting of snow last week. First November snow in years. It reminded me to dig around and find some of these. Would like to hear what you think. Link to comment
kristin.marvin 0 Posted November 26, 2008 I think it's wonderful. Is this on the East Coast? We (Maryland) had our first November snow in years last week, too- also a dusting. I love how you've captured the snow falling- i tried to do the same and failed miserably! :/ This is really nice colors and composition. Wonderful winter scene. Link to comment
leecaudilljr 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Kristin, thanks for the comment and yes,it is East Coast. Graham, NC to be exact. The falling effect was done by slowing the shutter just based on ambient light and not worring about freezing the action. I took a look at your portfolio, and you have some nice work. Keep going. kristin.marvin 0 Posted November 26, 2008 Thanks for the advise- I had thought the opposite, that I had to hasten the shutter speed to freeze the snowflakes mid-air. I will try slowing it down a bit next time it snows. Luckily, winter in our neck of the woods is supposed to be more snowy than usual, so I should get some nice practice! :) Again, great photo!
