don_harper_the_edge 0 Posted October 28, 2002 It must be frightening looking at some of these bugs through the viewfinder up close and personal. Another great shot. Thanks for sharing more of your work Mark. Link to comment
suchismit1 0 Posted October 30, 2002 Very impressive. I am interested in knowinghow you reverse mounted the 50/1.4 on yourG1. Link to comment
mplonsky 0 Posted October 30, 2002 Suchismit- Thanx for the kind words. I have been doing a lot of work with this setup as it is a lot of fun to capture untouched, live, bugs up this close. I attach an adapter to the g1 called a lensmate that allows the g1 to take filters. Then I use a macro coupling ring (male threads on both sides) to attach the reversed 50mm to the G1. I got the latter from B&H photo and video. I should also note that I use a canon 420ex flash covered with a diffuser mounted on a butterfly bracket. Link to comment
m._huber 0 Posted November 1, 2002 Wonderful shot!!! How could an insect look so cute and friendly? (I'll ignore the clarity. I'm used to that from you.) Link to comment
