MichaelChang 12 Posted November 25, 2008 I like this best of the three, Rebecca. Love the titles you give too. :-) Would have been nice had the background been a clean blue but I reckon it was difficult enough shooting through glass. Link to comment
duckprintsgallery 0 Posted December 1, 2008 Thanks Michael. I cleaned up some of the floatie things in the water, but that was the best I could do. Yes, shooting through glass is difficult. Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted December 1, 2008 Rebecca, I presume you cleaned up the background directly on the base image? If so, there's a better way by creating a mask of the water as a new layer. In the attached example, I selected the water freehand (feathered by a few pixels) since edges were not so critical. I then applied various smudge tools and Gaussian Blur to smooth its surface before flattening the image layers. This way you can treat the water surface without touching the Daisies. Link to comment
duckprintsgallery 0 Posted December 2, 2008 Thanks Michael...definitely looks better. I just don't have the time to spend on the finer points of PhotoShop...unfortunately...real job interferes with play time. I'll try this tho'. Best...R Link to comment
