rnemtpski 0 Posted November 24, 2008 Ok, i have really been trying hard at this water thing. I finally found a place inside that had some low light area for me to set the camara to capture the water soft and not loose too much of the shot. So tell me what you think. All comments are welcome... Thanks LInda Link to comment
markst33 3 Posted November 24, 2008 Not bad Linda, but you know the easiest way to capture this kind of shot is by using whats called a Neutral Density Filter (ND Filter). Its a grey filter which goes over the lens thereby reducing the amount of light coming in so forcing the camera into using a slow shutter speed even on a bright day. There are different strengths of filter. You also need a tripod in order to get perfectly sharp images. Have a look here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neutral_density_filter Mark S., Dublin. bronx 0 Posted November 25, 2008 Mark is right on with what you need Linda, I use a Hoya NDX8 HMC and like it very much. Nice photo. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted November 27, 2008 Kudos to you for the fine work you put into this! Pretty much there too; I think the ND filter, or eve just a touch faster shutter speed would have done it for you. God knows, you just couldn't have put together a better composition. Keep 'em coming, Linda. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
